Last week, ZCES's 1st graders enjoyed the fruits of their labor by making delicious roasted garlic mashed potatoes with the potatoes and garlic they planted last year as kindergarteners! View the photos on Facebook
Big thanks to Katie Martin, the culinary teacher at George Whittell High School, for helping make this fun collaboration possible. The grow dome gardening program at Zephyr Cove, combined with the Whittell culinary program, is truly blossoming into something special at our lake schools. We love seeing our students learn and enjoy the process of growing, harvesting, and cooking their own food!
