Douglas High School and George Whittell High School Ski Teams Compete at State Championships

Douglas High School Girls’ Ski Team delivered an impressive performance at the state championships at Kirkwood, taking 2nd place in points overall across both days of competition.
The team placed 2nd in giant slalom and 3rd in slalom. Special recognition goes to Azalyn V. for earning a spot on the podium with a 5th-place finish in giant slalom and the overall competition.
George Whittell High School Boys’ Ski Team also had an outstanding showing at Kirkwood, finishing as state runner-up in both slalom and combined. Congratulations to Logan R. for earning Overall League MVP honors and to Brent S. for placing 7th overall.
