CCMES 5th Graders Learn Avalanche Safety at Spooner Lake

CCMES 5th graders had an unforgettable day learning about avalanche safety at Spooner Lake with the Kirkwood Rescue and Avalanche Dogs Foundation. View the photos on Facebook.
Thanks to a generous donation from Perma-Cal, students explored the Tahoe Basin, participated in hands-on snow safety activities, and observed K9s Esha, Avy, and Momo during a live search and rescue demonstration.
