Sixth graders enjoyed their first lunch at Pau-Wa-Lu Middle School today! Mrs. Carter, Mrs. Worthington, and Mrs. Emm were there to ensure everyone felt welcome and supported on their first day.

It’s a great day to be a Tiger at Carson Valley Middle School! Students kicked off the 2025–26 school year at CVMS with Principal Greg Thetford, new to CVMS this year, and Vice Principal Sarah Sparhawk there to welcome them. We even caught a glimpse of Dr. Janet Levine’s choir class in action!

CCMES students enjoyed basketball at morning recess.

It was an afternoon full of energy at Jacks Valley Elementary School! Students enjoyed the playground at recess, and Ms. Jezek’s 2nd grade class lined up in the hallway afterward, ready to head back to class.

 

Minden Elementary School students stood together for the Pledge of Allegiance this morning as they began the new school year 🇺🇸.

Big changes at Aspire Academy High School this year! We’re excited to welcome Principal Alicia Braaksma to the campus and introduce the new 7th/8th-grade alternative middle school program, joining the school in a classroom setting this year.

First library class of the year at Scarselli Elementary School! Students were welcomed by Librarian Mrs. Marriott as they explored the library and got ready for a great year of reading.

 

Math is in motion at Whittell High School! Mrs. Heather Lamb’s class jumped right into equations on the first day.

Smiles all around in Mrs. Hart’s 2nd-grade class at Zephyr Cove Elementary on the first day of school!

It was a busy morning at Piñon Hills Elementary School as students made their way to class on the first day.

 

Vice Principal Veronica Griffith joins Principal Marcy Guthrie on the GES team this year.

The first day at Gardnerville Elementary School wrapped up right at 3:14 pm as students headed to the buses.
