School Board

The Finance Committee will serve in an advisory capacity to support fiscal transparency, long-range financial planning, and informed public discussion of the District’s financial condition. The Committee will review financial reports, budget assumptions, fiscal trends, audit information, and major financial planning issues, and may provide input to the Board of Trustees and District staff on fiscal policies and strategies.

“The Finance Committee is an important step in strengthening public trust and supporting thoughtful, transparent financial decision-making,” said Terri Willoughby, Chief Financial Officer. “We are looking for community members who are willing to ask good questions, review financial information carefully, and help the District plan responsibly for the future.”

The District encourages applications from individuals with experience or interest in areas such as finance, accounting, budgeting, business operations, public administration, education, auditing, banking, construction, facilities, or community leadership. Prior school finance experience is not required. Applicants should be committed to constructive dialogue, confidentiality where appropriate, and the District’s mission of serving students, staff, families, and the community.
